Help with Research

Both during the start-up phase and after the implementation of our projects we are very interested in qualifications and educational backgrounds that may complement and improve our projects and make running adjustments.

Do you study Anthropology, International Development or other academic programs that incorporate a period of independent fieldwork – and would you like to conduct your work in Grabouw or Elgin in South Africa?

In addition, are you interested in topics such as learning through play and creativity, social development and environmental and social sustainability? If so, we would be happy to assist you in your work. In return, you are invited to share your findings, conclusions and recommendations with us once you finish your research.

It is important to note that unfortunately we are not able to offer any financial support or make formal arrangements concerning fieldwork. In lieu of these services, we offer access to a network of relevant contacts and can provide you with travel advice and expertise to ease and assist your search for informants. What is more, you naturally gain the unique opportunity to conduct fieldwork that might have a practical impact on development efforts.
